Mousesteps Weekly #107 – Frozen Summer Fun Overview, Including Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome, Premium Package, Sing-Along

Mousesteps Weekly #107 is out, and it is all about Frozen Summer Fun! We talk about the Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package, Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, and so much more!

In Mousesteps Weekly #107, we talk all about Frozen Summer Fun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which lasts through September 1, 2014. Our show discussion includes:
The Olaf sand sculpture at the entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We show some of the creation, as well as the finished sculpture!
After receiving our Take-Along Olaf, we headed to our Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package parade viewing location, where we watched Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome. Many elements are similar to Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, including floats and skaters. Anna and Elsa are pulled on a horse drawn sleigh, and the biggest draw here was the debut of Kristoff. Anna and Elsa are led on stage, where the first “Let it Go” of the day is sung.
Next, we head to the sing-along show, “For the First Time in Forever: A “Frozen” Sing-Along Celebration. Guests sing along to popular Frozen songs, and the show includes Frozen characters (both at the beginning, middle and end – but not the entire show). Elsa leads the audience in “Let it Go”. This is a really fun show!
Wandering Oaken’s Frozen Funland allows guests to make snowmen, skate (for a fee), and enjoy a winter wonderland without freezing temperatures. There is also a professional ice skating display for 10 minutes each hour!
Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post has a plethora of Frozen merchandise, some of which we haven’t seen before. From t-shirts to plush to dresses and more, guests looking for Frozen merchandise need not look further.
We head inside due to weather to enjoy the Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package dessert party, which included Anna & Elsa cupcakes, Olaf marshmallow pops and fondue! Alcoholic specialty drinks are included.
The last component of the day was the Frozen Fireworks Spectacular, which includes a stage show and fireworks. The only day this won’t be shown through September 1st is August 23rd!
