10/5 Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Alice in Wonderland Water Play Area & Beach Pool Bar

Hi everyone!

Before we went to California in late August, we covered the construction of the Alice in Wonderland water play area at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. It opened while we were away, but it took us this long to finally get over there!

The water playground isn't huge, but it's very nicely themed! The Mad Hatter's hat is the bucket, and the White Rabbit and Alice in Wonderland are shown on the side. We do have a video of this new play area!

 

 

The Beach Pool Bar opened when Gasparilla Grill went down for rehab. Menu items include a Crab Cake Sandwich ($9.99) and Pina Colada Cupcake ($3.99). The cupcake seems to be the item most of interest to our YouTube viewers so far! I have to admit, I didn't read through the menu until we got home, we'd already had lunch with a friend at Disney's Contemporary Resort. But we will stop back by here soon!
