Four Seasons Orlando Offers 5 Acre Water Park w/Lazy River, Adult & Family Pools, More (Photos & Video)

We attended the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Four Seasons Orlando Resort at Walt Disney World Resort, we have that article here. Previously, we had posted 100 photos from the portion of the Four Seasons Orlando that we previewed, but we are excited to be able to share photos and video of the expansive recreation area that includes Explorer Island with the lazy river, along with the Oasis adult pool.

The Oasis adult pool is located front and center in the back of the Four Seasons Resort Orlando. What I hadn’t thought about until today is how very well thought-out the pools are. Unlike many other resorts we’ve been to, the adult pool is well away from the lazy river and family pool. The PB&G outdoor restaurant separates this pool from all other recreation options. As much as I look forward to trying the lazy river, it is also nice to have a more serene environment. Both the Oasis adult pool and the family pool appear to have an Infinity edge.

Here is our first look at the 11,000 square foot lazy river. There are 1140 trees on the property, which makes for a lush setting.

Guests will find sunblock and aloe vera gel to keep themselves from burning (or to help soothe the burn).

Ice water with lemon and limes can be found at different locations.

The resort was in soft opening mode while we were there to tour. It doesn’t seem like the pools should ever be too crowded, with only 443 rooms and so many pool options.

Guests will find water features along the lazy river.

There are water canons for spraying guests on the lazy river. They release relatively small streams of water.

This is called The Mansion, and guests will find recreation and more here.

 

There are so many different types of seating! This is one of my favorites.

The Splash Zone was being enjoyed by both adults and children. It holds the same theme and look as The Mansion. If you’ve seen the concept art, it came very close to the reality.

Explorer Island feels far away from the main building, but it was about a 5 minute walk.

Towels are set out for each guest.

The views are photogenic from every angle.

Inside The Mansion are seating areas that looked very comfortable. It has a Saint Augustine feel to it.

There are games like Fusball to play.

Ping pong is another game available.

A pool table with a view of the main building, along with bocce nearby.

Guests wishing to find a relaxing place to sit will rarely have to walk more than a few feet at any time. There is seating all over the resort, including outside the restaurants.

There is a playground here, and kids from ages 4-12 can enjoy the Kids for all Seasons program, which is complimentary.

Guests can relax near the family pool.

The family pool is large, it looks like it goes on for miles (but it ends and the conservation area begins).

Explorer Island is also the setting for two water slides.

We found 2 hot tubs – one here, one near the family pool.

Service is key at Four Seasons Resort Orlando. Guests anywhere in the pool area receive pitchers of water along with glasses, delivered to them at their chairs. We were told that small amenities are also delivered every hour or so, like an appetizer item. We haven’t stayed here yet, but we do plan to book one night to experience it.

While the Four Seasons Resort Orlando officially opens tomorrow (August 3rd), not everything will be ready. Capo, the rooftop steakhouse is due to open in September, as is the Tranquilo Golf Club. The Four Seasons Resort Orlando combines elegance and a very family friendly atmosphere. There is so much to do here, you just have to find time for the theme parks!
