Tropical Santa Greets Guests With Mrs. Claus at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin

Hi everyone!

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin have kicked off the holiday season in grand style! We’ve already posted photos and video of this year’s chocolate Santa display which now boasts 1800 pounds of chocolate (and a new 400 pound nutcracker soldier!), and today we wanted to share coverage of the tree lighting and tropical Santa!

Mrs. Claus and elf Kandy Kane entertained guests before the tree lighting.

We always enjoy meeting Santa in his tropical outfit! Santa just seems more relaxed when at his favorite resort.

Delicious cups of hot chocolate were being given out to guests nearby with marshmallows and chocolate shavings.

The causeway lighting package went through a major upgrade this year, and every 10 minutes during the holiday season there is an impressive light show.
