11/10 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Photos from First 2 Parties 2011
Hi everyone!
We went to the first two Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights, and I have several hundred photos to share (whittled down from 1500). This is our fifth year of covering the Party!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party debuted for the 2011 season on November 8th, and we also attended November 9th. The Parties were MUCH busier than I ever remember a first (and second) Party to be! That said, even on a busy Party night, guests can do a lot – especially if they skip the first Parade and wait for the second. Staying until midnight helps too, since the last hour is always slow!

Cast members line up inside the turnstiles to put wristbands on guests. Unlike the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties, it took us (and other guests around us) an hour and a half to be asked to show a wristband. I personally prefer the hard exits Disney used to have, where the park closed at 6pm and opened at 7.

We already covered the first Cinderella Castle Lighting of the year, it plays nightly through the holiday season!
