Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Details, Signs & Testing After Walls Come Down at Magic Kingdom
Hi everyone!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure revealed new signs today, and some other fun details as the walls came down! Cast Members from the attraction were also testing on it. We rode the Walt Disney World Railroad first to check out the queue area, and then moved around to the front of the attraction.
Here are over 50 photos with video from today!
First, here is our long video that includes the signage, testing and more.
Some new elements have been added in the past days to the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue.
To the left, there is a car that was unveiled today.
The car says “Employee Owned Tiana’s Foods” and “Est. 1927”.
Bird houses have also been added.
There was a modest amount of work happening on this side of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure today as the queue nears completion for the official Cast Member preview days that start on June 2nd. Other previews (including media previews and Passholder previews) will follow.
There are quite a number of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure signs up. We had seen this one when it was under wraps in the past couple of weeks.
The sign says “Everybody’s Welcome!”
Here is a wider view of the area.
The walls came down around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and we can now look into the bayou.
Logs were ready to take guests. Artwork is beyond them on the fence, as well as a banner above that we’ve seen from the side previously.
The Tiana’s Bayou Adventure sign looks like an Art Nouveau style. I can imagine it as a Metro entrance in Paris.
Two flowers flank the sign.
Here is our video just of the signage.
The interior of the sign is purple with the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure logo.
Walt Disney World Ambassadors Serena Arvizu and Shannon Smith-Conrad were posing in front of the attraction.
Jeff was able to take a photo of them.
This was our first time meeting them, and I expect we will see the Walt Disney World Ambassadors again soon.
Here is the side of the sign.
The banner here says “Welcome to all who come to this happy place” – the quote from Walt Disney at Disneyland.
There is also a sign that says “Welcome to Fleur du Bayou” and “Home of Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen”. Fleur du Bayou would mean “Bayou Flower”.
Cast Members from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure were riding on the attraction today.
Here is another Tiana’s Bayou Adventure sign.
I am curious what might be here at this small building. I assume there will be something more.
The former Laughin’ Place playground is now stroller parking.
Workers were in and out of this door.
Trash cans are themed to the attraction and say “Help Keep Our Bayou Clean”.
More Tiana’s Bayou Adventure signage can be seen.
Here is one last look at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It was a hot but gorgeous day out! The return of the water ride will be very welcome this summer.
And remember, there is a Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Little Golden Book available for preorder!
We are looking forward to riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure very soon and look forward to sharing it with you!
