Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza Refurbishment Photos from October 1st, 2020
Hi everyone –
The Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza is receiving a makeover as it nears the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. Yesterday was the 49th anniversary and we have some photos from the toll plaza as the work is still early on – encompassing just the left side so far of the plaza. It is being painted a dark blue.
Here is a look at the booth a few weeks ago prior to the work starting. The current color scheme is much lighter, I actually like it – previous to this it had been a pink/purple combination (earlier in the decade). I have photos of that color scheme in some of my articles from almost ten years ago.
The left few lanes were blocked off with cones yesterday.
The letter W is now gold.
Here is a closer look at it.
The toll booths themselves were being worked on as well.
I’m not sure how long the work will be ongoing at the Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza, but I look forward to seeing the finished product.
Our next visit through the Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza is probably next Tuesday, we have a Park Pass reservation for the Magic Kingdom that day. I will be posting an update on Disney’s Polynesian Resort today as well.
