EPCOT Construction Update: CommuniCore Hall with Mickey & Friends, CommuniCore Plaza (3/28)

Hi everyone!

We were at EPCOT yesterday and have photos to share of CommuniCore Hall (with Mickey & Friends signage) photos and video. Plus, earlier this week we took the monorail and I have a few photos to share. There was light testing happening on CommuniCore Hall while we were at EPCOT yesterday.

CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza open on June 10th, 2024.

First, here is our video from yesterday and a little footage from the monorail from less than a week ago.

The Mickey & Friends location has mural/s with the various Disney characters.

Goofy artwork can be seen over the fence, beyond the real Pluto.

The Lightning Lane sign is beneath the Mickey & Friends sign.

There was work going on while we were there.

Light testing was also happening. Even with full sun, it looked very cool.

This is the first time we’ve been to EPCOT lately where it really feels like completion is nearing. Everything is coming together both in view and from the monorail.

We went to the Imagination pavilion for some photos.

There are doors down below.

I am not sure if this is a sign in the distance, but that is what it looks like.

And from the monorail, you can see how clean the area looks now – the walkways are almost ready for guests.

There is a stage for CommuniCore Plaza that has Spaceship Earth type theming.

The first show for CommuniCore Plaza will be an Encanto show called “¡Celebración Encanto!” that will run June 10th – September 6th, 2024 on the CommuniCore Plaza stage.
