My 10 Tips for Visiting the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival
Hi everyone!
The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is now in full bloom at Epcot! The event runs through May 27th, 2024 and there are always new topiaries and gardens to marvel over. We also tried some food items and we recommend a ride through Living with the Land, which added some displays based on Disney stories for the festival.
We just posted our Mousesteps Weekly show #502, talking about the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. My 10 tips follow!
Here are my 10 tips to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2024.
1 – Pick up a Festival Passport. Every EPCOT festival includes a passport sized booklet, allowing for easy access to information specifically geared toward the event. For 2024, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Passport lists the topiaries, Garden Rocks concerts, Outdoor Kitchen menus and more.

2 – Discover topiaries and gardens. There are over 60 topiaries around the park during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! New for this year is the front entrance “Wish” display with Asha, Star and Valentino; Groot near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind; and Miguel with Dante for “Coco” near the Mexico pavilion. Returning topiaries include the “Encanto” grouping; Mickey and friends; Figment and many more. Each year, there are more lifelike topiary figures. And returning this year is the Blossoms of Fragrance (presented by Scentsy) Garden and more.

3 – Ride Living with the Land and view Disney stories in a new way. The Living with the Land boat ride offers a new look at Disney stories in various displays, including “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and “Alice in Wonderland”. The displays are tied into the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival 2024.

4 – Purchase food and beverage offerings at Outdoor Kitchens. The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival features nearly 20 Outdoor Kitchens to purchase food and beverage offerings from! And there are around 60 new items this year. Jeff loved the Grilled Warm Water Lobster Tail at the Florida Fresh booth and we always enjoy the Beef Tenderloin Tips at the Northern Bloom booth at the Canada pavilion.

5 – Stop for special EPCOT Flower & Garden PhotoPass Magic Shot photos. There are special PhotoPass photo ops (Magic Shots) that include the Orange Bird and a Dopey topiary plant.

6 – Purchase Festival Merchandise. There are three different collections this year, but the Orange Bird Collection has been a huge hit, with a wide variety of merchandise (including a Loungefly Backpack, Lug bag, a mug and much more).

7 – Take a complimentary English Tea Garden tour in the United Kingdom. The paid version of this tour has not returned, but guests can enjoy a complimentary guided tour through the English Tea Garden (presented by Twinings). Spaces are limited, but there is also a self-guided tour that guests can pick up in The Tea Caddy.

8 – Look for bees with the Spike the Honey Bee “Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration” scavenger hunt. This scavenger hunt is back again this year, and it’s a pretty easy one so kids should find it entertaining and not difficult. The cost is $9.99 for 2024. Guests receive stickers and a map, then look for Spike the Bee in the various locations (and receive a prize). The scavenger hunts at EPCOT are always quite enjoyable.

9 – Enjoy a Garden Rocks concert. There are a variety of concerts at the America Gardens Theatre, including chart-topping acts and local bands. Returning favorites include Rick Springfield in March, Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas in April, and Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone, also in April. The concerts are included with park admission, but there is also limited availability for Garden Rocks Dining Packages.

10 – Find eggs with the Egg-Stravaganza for a limited time. Through April 9th, the Egg-Stravaganza scavenger hunt will be back at Epcot! As with “Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration”, the cost is $9.99 and there is a prize.
There is even more to discover at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival for the 2024 season! We recommend booking with our sponsor Mouse Fan Travel.
