(Photos, Video): Disney Vacation Club Halloween Meet & Treat Event with Minnie, Lotso and Hades

Hi everyone!

Our friends Axel and Elise invited us to join them for the Disney Vacation Club Meet & Treat event today. The event was held at the Atlantic Dance Hall on the Walt Disney World BoardWalk, and was mostly a character meet and greet experience with two trick-or-treat locations (and balloon artists). This is part of Membership Extras for the Disney Vacation Club.

We were there for the characters: Minnie Mouse (in a costume she has worn at Disneyland Paris), Lotso and Hades.

First, here is our video meeting the characters, followed by photos.

The doors opened a half hour early for everyone. There was a sign when we arrived that said “Membership Magic” and “Disney Vacation Club Meet and Treat”.

When we went inside, we got in a short line for a photo op and the characters (we were in line early outside). Minnie was talking with her Cast Member handler.

Hades was waiting for guests.

Lotso posed from a distance.

Minnie Mouse wore an orange dress with polka dots and purple fringe. Her stockings were purple and green, as was her hat.

Minnie also had some orange accents on her hat.

Lotso is pretty rare but we did meet him at Oogie Boogie Bash this year in Disney California Adventure.

Lotso’s backdrop was Sunnyside Daycare.

Lotso has quite a few poses.

Our last meet was Hades. We just saw Hades last month at Disneyland Paris during an Annual Passholder event, but he didn’t meet guests (he posed and interacted there).
