(Photos, Video) Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Fourth of July Golf Cart Parade 2023
Hi everyone!
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground held its annual Fourth of July Golf Cart Parade yesterday! Campsite guests decorated around 150 of their carts – it was a big parade, even a little bigger than last year. We have photos and video to share (also check out our Trail’s End refurbishment photos from yesterday).
First up, our video. While I chose a select group of photos to share, all or most of the carts are in our video as always.
For photos, I chose over 30 to given an overview of yesterday.
Two riders on horseback and one Cast Member on foot led the parade.
There were a couple of “The Muppets” entries.
This cart was decorated for “The Muppets Present … Great Moments in American History”, which was a wonderful show that played in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom.
This Cast Member cart is by “Wilderness Region Recreation”.
A lifeguard setup was on the top of the cart.
The next cart here has patriotic Disney characters on it, including Chip and Dale.
Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto were on the cart as well.
Carts were heavily decorated and some included inflatables on top.
The next cart looked like an airplane.
There were stickers, including a 309th Fighter Squadron emblem with Donald Duck.
One cart had a “100” symbolizing 100 years of the Walt Disney Company.
Chip and Dale enjoy the Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long on top of this cart.
They cook s’mores while a guitar is shown below them.
Mickey sits on a rocket.
This was an amazing entry into the golf cart parade – The Liberty Belle riverboat from Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom!
The cart featured the three decks of the Liberty Belle, with patriotic bunting.
The wheelhouse tops the boat, along with the smokestack.
The back of the boat features the paddle wheel.
What a gorgeous golf cart model of the Liberty Belle!
More highly themed patriotic golf carts drove through the campground.
This golf cart looked like a boat and featured a patriotic Grogu in a wreath.
We’ve seen this vehicle several times in the past year (the last time in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Halfway to Halloween Golf Cart Parade in late April).
This cart has some fun elements on top.
Hei Hei and Groot looked homemade. There was also a Spaceship Earth on top.
Fireworks shoot over Spaceship Earth and Groot holds a flag and mix tape, with a “USA” shirt. I figured the flowers signify the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival (which ends today, July 5th) but I could also be wrong on that.
Sam Eagle tops this cart.
Statler and Waldorf were on the side of the cart.
And the “Halloween” cart returned!
Michael Myers sits on the back of the cart.
What a great parade! We always enjoy Disney’s Fort Wilderness golf cart parades – the campsite guests are always so talented. While it was a very (very!) hot day, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Fourth of July Golf Cart parade brought out a lot of carts and quite a few guests to watch.
Next up will be Disney’s Fort Wilderness Halloween Golf Cart Parade in almost 4 months (although Halloween starts in about 5 weeks at the Magic Kingdom).
