EPCOT Construction Update from June 3rd, 2023 Including CommuniCore Hall, Plaza

Hi everyone!

We took a monorail ride around EPCOT yesterday for photos of the construction progress. It has been a couple of weeks since we have taken a look.

This is the rumored rideshare loop that is being added to the EPCOT parking lot.

CommuniCore Hall can be seen beyond the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival flower quilt. The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs one more month, until July 5th, 2023.

CommuniCore Hall will be a flexible exhibition and gallery space, “offering a wide variety of experiences that highlight art, live music, food – complete with a demonstration kitchen – and more.” There will also be a new meet and greet for Mickey & Friends.

CommuniCore Plaza is also here and “will have the flexibility to host intimate musical performances that extend out into the nearby gardens as well as large-scale concerts.”

Dreamers Point will feature the Walt the Dreamer statue.

Here are more photos from the monorail of the area. Everything is supposed to open later in 2023.

The restrooms look like they could open soon.

The Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana walk-through has looked pretty close to finished for quite some time, although there is still ongoing work. It is supposed to also open in late 2023.
