Buzz Lightyear Meet and Greet Returns to Magic Kingdom (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

Buzz Lightyear returned as a meet and greet character in the Magic Kingdom this past week! He had been a character sighting for the last three years, offering distant greetings from the Rockettower Plaza Stage as Stitch still does. This Buzz Lightyear meet and greet is in addition to his meet in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that returned in October 2022.

First, here is our video, followed by photos.

We waited maybe 10 minutes or so to meet Buzz, entering the line before he came back onstage. Once he arrived, the line became a lot longer.

Buzz does not sign autographs, but he does have a stamp for autograph books.

This is what the Buzz Lightyear signature stamp looks like on a piece of paper.

It is good to see Buzz Lightyear back greeting guests at the Magic Kingdom! You can find his meeting times on the My Disney Experience app.

Here are a couple of photos from the Magic Kingdom that day. It was very hot but the flowers looked beautiful.

Hopefully we’ll see Stitch return for official meet and greets in the near future as well in the Magic Kingdom.
