Modified Epcot International Food and Wine Festival to Debut July 15th, 2020 with Park Reopening
Hi everyone –
Walt Disney World is preparing to reopen the parks in July, and that will include a modified Epcot International Food & Wine Festival that will start earlier and be called “A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival”. It will kick off with the reopening of Epcot on July 15th and continues through the fall with 20 signature marketplaces including Hawaii, Hops & Barley and Islands of the Caribbean. The Remy topiary will still be in place from the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival – it also helps promote the upcoming France expansion that has been delayed due to the COVID-19 closure. Remy’s Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt will also return and we will see Flower & Garden merchandise and eventually Food & Wine items.
Due to social distancing concerns, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series will not run in 2020. There will be local Epcot entertainment such as Mariachi Cobre and the JAMMitors playing throughout the day at the American Gardens Theater.
I posted an article about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party being canceled for 2020. Disney H20 Glow Nights has also been canceled. Other seasonal events are still up in the air.
