The Edison at Disney Springs Offers Unique Halloween Cocktails (and a Chance to Win Dinner for 2)
Hi everyone!
We are midway through October, and The Edison at Disney Springs invited us out to try a few Halloween cocktails. The drinks here are always unique! The Edison is part of the complex that includes Maria & Enzo’s, Enzo’s Hideaway and Pizza Ponte (our favorite pizza) and is located at The Landing next to the bridge to the West Side. There is something for everyone within steps. If you are looking for unique drinks and a steampunk setting, you need to look no further than The Edison.
First, stop by the Happy Halloween backdrop this month for a selfie and you can enter to win a dinner for two!
The instructions here say to take a selfie, upload it using #Halloween2022 and #TheEdison. One winner will be chosen each week of October and sent a digital gift letter.
Now on to the drinks we tried!
Blood Donor– $21.00.
Made with Espolon silver tequila, aperol, Solerno blood orange liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup and served in a blood bag. This was a little hard to look at and drink at the same time, but it tasted fruity and delicious. The alcohol was not that evident to me while drinking, but I could feel it a bit toward the end of the drink. I am a big fan of the Solerno blood orange liqueur, so this ended up being a favorite for me.
Eye Drop – $17.00.
Made with Absolut citron, cointreau, acid-adjusted simple syrup, cherry juice, it wasn’t too tart or too sweet for me. If I was going to go to The Edison and purchase one alcoholic specialty cocktail right now, this would be it.
There is a gummy eyeball in the bottom. I gave the eyeball to Jeff.
Pumpkin Spice Forever Fall Seasonal High Roller – $30.00.
Made with Stoli elit vodka, Borghetti espresso liqueur, Faretti biscotti liqueur, pumpkin spiced puree, black walnut bitters and fee foam. This is a “High Roller” drink at $30.00 – it is certainly one of the most expensive cocktails we’ve experienced at Walt Disney World. As much as I love pumpkin spice, the expresso flavor was just too strong for someone who doesn’t like coffee. Jeff loved the drink though and said it has a nice kick.
When you order a High Roller cocktail, you’ll receive a coin. Collect four and receive a fifth High Roller Cocktail for free!
Here is a look from above.
Red Rum – $17.00.
Made with Cruzan rum, orgeat, fresh lemon juice, honey, house-batched cinnamon cordial, this was Jeff’s favorite drink of the ones we tried.
Pink Ribbon – $18.00.
Made with Herradura silver tequila, house-batched raspberry mint cordial, fresh watermelon and lime juices. There is also a mocktail version. With each purchase, one dollar will be donated to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
The Halloween cocktails will be available through October 31st, and then soon The Edison will have something new for the holiday season! Check out the latest menus here.
If that isn’t enough, both Enzo’s Hideaway and Maria & Enzo’s are serving different unique Halloween/autumn cocktails. You could make an evening of it enjoying cocktails around the complex or make your own food and cocktail pairings at any of the restaurants.
Thank you to The Edison for having us out! We do come here on our own as well, and look forward to doing so again soon.
