Pym Kitchen Overview: Over 60 Photos of Buffet Restaurant in Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris
Note from March 27th, 2023: Check out our Pym Kitchen dining review with 90 photos!
Hi everyone!
Avengers Campus officially opened this week (July 20th, 2022) at Disneyland Paris. The land located in Walt Disney Studios Park features a number of dining options. The most anticipated location has been Pym Kitchen, a buffet that has received very good reviews since opening during Passholder previews.
While Jeff and I won’t be at Disneyland Paris until September, our friend Rony from @dlplicious did dine opening day and offers photos of the experience. He does say that Pym Kitchen is his new favorite buffet at Disneyland Paris. This article is not a review, but an overview including his photos, screenshots I took from his video, and also photos from a friend – Lilly Melquist – were added in. The restaurant is extremely well detailed and there is a wide range of food. I have about 60 photos in the article, and it doesn’t even cover all the food (there is so much)! We plan to have our own dining review posted at the end of September.
Here is the overview of Pym Kitchen!
First, our Mousesteps Weekly Show #442 includes a segment on Pym Kitchen with Rony taking us on a tour. I queued the video up to the segment.
I recommend booking as soon as Pym Kitchen is available for your visit. I don’t normally book table service restaurants 60 days out, and what I’ve realized is…it’s often a lot easier to get a table for 4 than 2. I booked for a small group one day and I had my choice of times. But when looking for just Jeff and I, it has been harder to get at times. Also, I wasn’t sure what time reservations become available. It seems to be about 2:00 a.m Paris time (8:00 p.m. ET). We visit Disneyland Paris a lot but this is my first time trying to book this early.
This is the entrance to Pym Kitchen. Disneyland Paris says of the restaurant:
“Just as Ant-Man and The Wasp use “Pym Particles” to grow and shrink to just about anything, Pym Technologies applies this science to the creation of shareable bites, inventive entrees and sweet treats as a buffet. Recruits will be able to savour items at unusual scales, including both gigantic shareable pretzel sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, cakes, and their tiniest versions for those who wish to try everything.”
“Shrinking Problems, Growing Solutions”.
The menu is shown outside, the price is 42 € for an adult, 30 € for children. You can see the full menu here.
Here is a look inside.
At the table, there is a placemat with an additional small activity sheet.
Wine, vinegar, salt and pepper come in what look like test tubes.
Here is a look at one plate.
The buffets include one cold drink or mineral water. The drink menu includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, including soda or mineral water if you want a second one.
Regular water comes in a large flask.
There was a large pretzel brought to the table.
Rony was one of the first diners for lunch on opening day. Everything was set out so nicely, and the food choices are abundant.
The theme includes big and small foods. There are small hot dogs here next to a large one.
Bread shaped like a pretzel creates a large sandwich. Nearby there were small pretzels for comparison.
There are a lot of entrees, salads, desserts, etc.
Mashed potatoes with an “A” sits next to prawn and coriander stir-fry.
Long green beans also have an “A”. Next to it, the sign says that is a plant-based, crab flavored cake.
Lilly shows off a green bean.
Corn-dogs are on the buffet.
Salmon is next to small potatoes.
I believe the sign above says Jumbo Jambalaya.
Roast pork breast.
There is a large cheeseburger and small ones.
Glazed rainbow carrots.
Pasta was being made.
Some went back to the table with Rony.
There is still much more!
Head-on shrimp, along with mayonnaise (some blue).
There are a variety of salads.
Oversized croutons are served in them.
Gazpacho is served in a beaker.
There are flax seeds in tubes
Desserts are plentiful, just like everything else.
A large Oreo cookie is surrounded by small ones.
Forest fruit blue gelatin.
It looks like a pound cake or similar.
Chocolate cake. It looks soooo good.
Red velvet cake next to blue crème anglaise.
A themed dessert.
A strawberry dessert is below.
Strawberry gelatin comes in a beaker.
“Pym-ini Cake”.
Madeleines large and small.
This looks like a Magnum bar but I was told it is a cake pop.
There is a case of cheeses.
This includes a wheel of brie, plus smaller wheels.
Rony showed his dessert plate.
And here are a few more photos inside the restaurant.
And a look outdoors.
Pym Kitchen looks wonderful! All of our friends who have gone really have enjoyed it. We plan to dine there at least twice to give a good review, there is no way even in two visits to try everything. Thank you to Rony from @DLPlicious and to Lilly Melquist. I also used other photos she provided to help label food items. Not all of the food is shown in the article, but much of it is. There are a number of salads I didn’t add – if anyone wants me to take screenshots, I can add more.
Avengers Campus is a big hit with guests, and I’m excited to see it in September! And especially I look forward to dining at PYM Kitchen.
