Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Returns to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground (Our First Photos, Video from Opening Day)
Hi everyone!
The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue returned yesterday to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! This hugely popular show has been shown in Pioneer Hall for almost 50 years now, with the Pioneer Hall Players entertaining guests. Comfort food includes the famous fried chicken and strawberry shortcake.
Disney invited me out yesterday to experience the return of Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. Jeff and I are attending on our own today so I’ll have a review this weekend that includes the combined experiences and interviews. Today I wanted to share some photos and video I took during the first show (we will have more of each this weekend too).
Here is video of the opening number.
The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue can be a hard reservation to book, you’ll want to do so as early as possible. There are three shows each evening.
Cornbread is a staple of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
Fried chicken and ribs are on the menu, and with my review this weekend I’ll share thoughts on the food. Of course, the fried chicken is the best at Walt Disney World.
And here are photos from the show! Much of it is the same as guests will remember – including audience interaction.
Washboards are still handed out so guests can participate musically.
The meal ends with delicious strawberry shortcake.
It was great to see Disney’s Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue back!
Showtimes are at 4:00 PM, 6:15 PM or 8:30 PM. Make sure to leave plenty of time to arrive to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground!
