Epcot Egg-stravaganza 2018 Review – Spoiler Free & With Spoilers (Whichever You Choose): Scavenger Hunt Runs Through April 1st
Hi everyone!
Today was a beautiful day at Epcot for the Egg-stravaganza, which is the egg scavenger hunt that will run through Easter (April 1st, 2018). Last year it ran during the entire Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, but this year it will be just a couple of weeks. Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration is a scavenger hunt that does run during the entire Festival. Here is a look from today at the Egg-stravaganza, starting with spoiler-free and then with spoilers. We have a full video with spoilers below as well.
The Egg-stravaganza map with stickers costs $5.99 plus tax and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders do receive a discount. The following shops have the maps:
- Disney Trader
- Pin Central
- World Traveler
The first photos are mostly spoiler free, and then I show locations around World Showcase with spoilers.
Follow Mousesteps on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube!
Guests can purchase a map and pick up their prize at the same time if they want – just as with any of the other scavenger hunts lately. It does make it easier to stand in line once.
Here are the prizes, one character egg per map purchased.
Our first stop was France. While World Showcase opens at 11:00 a.m., there are four eggs that can be found before that. Les Halles Boulangerie opens at 9:00 a.m. and there is one egg nearby, and then others can be found in the United Kingdom, Canada and Norway before World Showcase officially opens.
Belle and Beast have generally no crowd around them at this time, we didn’t arrive until about 10:00 a.m.
Minnie is in France. I won’t show until the jump exactly where she is.
I wanted to share a couple of breakfast photos, there are so many wonderful items in Les Halles Boulangerie including the full baguette, pastries and this imported cheese plate.
Time for spoilers! Here is a pretty Epcot photo from today and then almost everything else shows locations of eggs.
First, here is our video that includes all the spoilers! And then photos.
Here is the location of Minnie in France.
White Rabbit in the United Kingdom.
You can see him in the distance.
Thumper is in Canada.
And there wasn’t a Canada maple leaf on our last visit, so that was fun to see.
Goofy is the only egg that is located inside, this is in the Mexico pavilion.
Mexico outside.
Daisy is in Norway.
She is where the Maelstrom ride could be seen before Frozen Ever After took over.
Pluto is in China.
I didn’t take a photo of Pluto from a distance, but he is on this side of the China pavilion.
Perry the Platypus is at the African Outpost.
He is out toward the water.
Dale is in Germany.
He is all the way on the right of this photo.
Chip is in Italy.
He is straight ahead on the balcony.
Donald is in Japan.
He is at the waterfall.
And Figment is in Morocco.
Looking further out.
The Egg-stravaganza map and stickers are a fun and inexpensive way to take up an hour or more around World Showcase. If you can’t make it in the next two weeks to Epcot but will be for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, then I recommend Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration. It is a cute hunt too with some fun patches as prizes.
