TRON Lightcycle Run Update at Magic Kingdom from May 18th, 2022 (Photos, Video)
Hi everyone!
We took a ride on the Astro Orbiter, People Mover, and Tomorrowland Speedway yesterday to get TRON Lightcycle Run photos and video. The Magic Kingdom was not too busy, and it was nice to get some extra angles (plus a few from the Swiss Family Treehouse). Here are the photos and video from yesterday!
First up, our video.
The first photo is from the Astro Orbitor, which gives a good overview of Space Mountain and TRON next to each other.
We took two rides on the People Mover.
There was a lot of work going on all over the site. We didn’t see any ride vehicles out on this visit.
The entrance walkway was being worked on.
Here is a look at the tunnel on this side for the Walt Disney World Railroad, which will pass underneath TRON.
And a couple more photos from the People Mover.
We went to Storybook Circus and you can see the tunnel on this side here.
We passed by the canopy while riding the Tomorrowland Speedway.
From the People Mover, we also saw Walt Disney World Railroad track work.
And work was also happening at the Tomorrowland Power & Light Co., the gift shop for Space Mountain.
From the Swiss Family Treehouse, this is the current skyline.
There is no announced date yet for the opening of TRON Lightycycle Run but it is exciting to see the progress since our last visit!
