“Treasures of Xandar” Store and Merchandise Photos & Video from Media Preview of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Hi everyone!

Treasures of Xandar is the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind store (the ride and shop officially open May 27th, 2022). We were able to preview both. There is quite a bit of new merchandise that will be available to purchase! Here is a look inside of Treasures of Xandar in photos and video, with an interview detailing some of the merchandise.

First, here is our video. It not only has the interview but a tour of the shop.

There is a variety of merchandise lines that can be found around the shop.

The Broker is in the center.

Groot is on top of a display.

There was a merchandise setup for us to interview at.

Items included a hat, bag and water bottle.

This hat features Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Drax and Rocket.

We spoke with Elisa, who is a Brand Merchandising Manager about some of the items. This Groot plush is scented like cedar and cinnamon.

Rocket and Groot can be squeezed, their eyes bulge out. Elisa said that “Maybe it’s a bit of a stress reliever too”.

Disney partnered with Hasbro on the set, which includes all the Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time and also Groot through the years.

Elisa said that for these shirts, they went after a rock star vibe.

The back has some of the planets that the Guardians of the Galaxy have visited.

This merchandise line hearkens back to the story that Peter Quill visited EPCOT in the 80s. This line is called “Through the Eyes of Quill”. The designs are inspired by merchandise lines that were sold in the 80s (I first visited Epcot in the opening year).

There is a photo frame with a Spaceship Earth look to it.

This mug is inspired by a Figment mug from the 80s.

This shirt has the design as well, which includes Groot and Rocket.

This shirt has the look of a park map from the 80s with a Guardians of the Galaxy twist.

That collection continues.

There is a die cast Starblaster vehicle.

“Honorary Guardians” cap.
