(Photos, Video) Disneyland Paris Railroad Grand Circle Tour from March 2022

Hi everyone!

We took a grand circle tour on the Disneyland Railroad at Disneyland Paris twice during our visit last month. This was just going to be a video article but I have a decent amount of photos as well. Next visit I will focus on more of the details of the Main Street station especially.

At the outside of the station, the 30th Anniversary is being celebrated.

Mickey and Minnie greet guests from the balcony inside the park. Above them it says “Euro Disneyland RR”, which is noted in so many places even though the resort name changed to Disneyland Paris in 1994. In front of Mickey and Minnie it says “EDRR”.

Here is our video of the grand circle tour including the Grand Canyon Diorama (I didn’t photograph that part).

Big Thunder Mountain can be seen from the train.

Western signage runs through Frontierland.

The second time we rode the train, we boarded from the Frontierland Depot.

Here is a look at the front of the station.

The exit signs have the “EDRR” and mention Thunder Mesa.

One thing I love about Disneyland Paris is the variety of trees – so many are lush and beautiful, even more so in summer.

The C.K. Holliday took us around the second time.

The way the Disneyland Railroad in Paris is laid out is different than Walt Disney World and also Disneyland in California. There are cars of guests, which means sometimes getting a good seat can be tricky if it’s crowded. During our two rides, I did have a view – once in this direction and then the second time was out the window in the back.

From the window in the back, the views include the Storybook Land Canal Boats and Casey Jr. Circus Train.

We passed by the Fantasyland Train Station.

The train was coming up on The Old Mill.

Alice’s Curious Labyrinth is in view with the Queen of Heart’s Castle.

Sleeping Beauty Castle can be seen past Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups.

The Old Mill is a location to pick up various snacks.

it’s a small world has been going through a large refurbishment and is closed.

We passed by some of the topiaries.

The train passed by the Discoveryland Station.

The station includes posters from locations in Discoveryland, including Videopolis.

Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain.

Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.

And we passed by Hyperspace Mountain.

I mentioned the trees – there are so many kinds around the park.

The Disneyland Hotel is undergoing a major renovation to become a princess themed hotel and is currently closed.

When we arrived at the Main Street Station, I could see the stained glass from the window – including the Orbitron. From an article we posted (given to us by Disneyland Paris):

Here, Main Street Station is a royal road for discovering the different destinations in Disneyland Park. Posters and stained-glass windows featuring the different Lands are invitations to travel, a taste of the experiences that await explorers. These were designed by Eddie Sotto, who himself was inspired by the striking paintings in the restaurant Le Train Bleu at Gare de Lyon, representing the different stages of the journey that awaited passengers on the Paris-Lyon-Marseille train route during the Belle Epoque.

A riverboat is in this stained glass.

The red organ can be seen on this side.

Here is one more piece of stained glass.

On the back of the train, “Euro Disneyland Railroad”.

Leaving the train gives a nice view of Town Square.

Looking back at the exit, it mentions the Disneyland Railroad.

The Disneyland Railroad is such a wonderful attraction in the park and I recommend riding if you visit!
