Disney Springs Photo Update: April 25th, 2016 from Characters In Flight, Ground as May 15th Town Center Opening Draws Near

Hi everyone!

We’ve posted a lot of Disney Springs updates lately, but finally were able to get back up in Characters in Flight before our Groupon ended (just by days). Much of this article shows Disney Springs from above, though I have some photos that include a few new changes that happened in the last 24 hours. Town Center is scheduled to open on May 15th, with shops and restaurants opening in phases. I am looking forward to trying Blaze Pizza and STK! The blue water of the springs looked gorgeous on this day.

From the ground, STK is showing new lighting to its sign.

STK looks like it is getting much closer to being ready for what should now be a spring opening.

New today, Fulton’s Crab House is becoming Paddlefish. This is the concept art that went up this morning.

The paddlewheel will be back.

And at BB-Wolf’s Sausage Company, there were a few new additions. This sausage and fork sign were added since yesterday. The chimney looks a bit “used”. And there is now a Big Bad Wolf weathervane.

The weathervane is really fun.

B.B. Wolf’s is scheduled to open May 15th.

Here is a look at Fulton’s Crab House, which will look very different come fall.

And before the Characters in Flight pics, here is a look at the upcoming Coca Cola Store and the bus stop.

The bus stop looks much more finished than it did just days ago.

You can see a sign to the right, that will show where the buses are for each resort.

Planet Hollywood will become the Planet Hollywood Observatory, scheduled to open this summer.

I won’t be typing info on every photo, because I don’t know what everything is. Most of the photos will be of the Town Center.

 

We’ve shown D-Luxe Burger photos from ground level, this is scheduled to open in May.

The overview is expansive.

The second parking garage can be seen behind the Town Center.

I believe this is supposed to be Sprinkles, which is scheduled to open next month.

I look forward to walking through this area.
