Limited Release EPCOT Posters Available on shopDisney – Imagination & Spaceship Earth – Through December 31st, 2021

Hi everyone!

shopDisney has two limited release posters for sale this morning (through December 31st, 2021) – the Imagination Pavilion and Spaceship Earth. They were created by artist Eric Tan, are printed on black archival paper made in Italy and measure 36” H x 24” W (includes 3/8” border). The artwork is already available as smaller prints on shopDisney. Here are the two posters with information on each.

EPCOT Imagination Poster – Limited Release

Available only through 12/31/2021

Explore your creative power in the Imagination Pavilion, home to the attraction Journey Into Imagination With Figment. Created by artist Eric Tan, this limited release poster features the iconic glass pyramid pavilion and beloved dragon Figment.

Created especially for Walt Disney World Resort

  • Limited Release: Available only through 12/31/21
  • Artist: Eric Tan
  • Fine art serigraph printed on black archival paper made in Italy
  • EPCOT logo and attraction title printed with metallic inks
  • Metallic accent inks sparkle subtly as light catches them
  • Enhanced with a spot varnish
  • A serigraph is a reproduction of artwork through silk-screening. Considered a ”traditional” printmaking technique, it is an analog process that takes the careful eye of a master printer and color separator
  • Created using the same printing processes that were utilized for the original Disney Parks attraction posters. Produced on an updated version of the same printing press, originally located at Walt Disney Imagineering
  • Archival paper
  • 36” H x 24” W (includes 3/8” border)
  • Printed in U.S.A. by Cyclops Print Works

EPCOT Spaceship Earth Poster – Limited Release

Available only through 12/31/2021.

Designed by Disney artist Eric Tan, Spaceship Earth, a limited release poster for Walt Disney Imagineering Collections, has been created using the same process as the original Disney Parks attraction posters. This piece depicts the Earth being circled by seated riders sailing through the stars.

Eric Tan grew up in the sleepy town of San Diego raised on a steady diet of Disney animation and Star Wars films. His passion for drawing and painting led him to attend Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. For the past 20 years, Eric has been an artist for Disney’s Consumer Products team creating merchandise graphics for Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Marvel. He resides in the tiny city of Sierra Madre, California with his wife, Stacey, son, Charley, and cat, Ramona.
