Disney’s BoardWalk Resort Closures & Refurbs – Photos Including Flying Fish, Seashore Sweets, Resort Exterior

Hi everyone!

We stopped by Disney’s BoardWalk Resort yesterday to check out the various closures and refurbishments that are currently going on. It was a gorgeous day out!

The exterior of the resort has had work going on for a number of months, I’ve read possibly May for it to be complete.

The Flying Fish Cafe is currently closed through fall for a major refurbishment. You can read about it to some small extent on the Disney Parks Blog.

Seashore Sweets is now fully closed for good. There was no sign showing that, but the doors were locked and a new experience will eventually take its place.

I’m not sure what was going on in front of the BoardWalk Bakery, but it was open.

The ESPN Arcade and shop are closed, and will be replaced by different experiences.

And Luna Park was closed for a short refurb, it should be open in a couple of days.

It was a quick stop with quite a bit to see!
