“Ratatouille: The Adventure” Ride & Learn Video from 2020 Offers Fun Facts for Disneyland Paris & Epcot Attraction
Hi everyone!
Last year, the Disney Parks Blog shared a Ratatouille: The Adventure Ride & Learn video from Disneyland Paris. That same ride will be opening officially in Epcot on October 1st, 2021 as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – so all the details in the video apply! In the attraction, you will feel like you’ve shrunken down to the size of a rat as you travel through Chef Gusteau’s Restaurant.
Tidbits given in the video include that Pixar animators created all the animation for the attraction and that there is a 25- foot hanging fish and a one ton ham in the refrigerator area. There are also some fun names on food items.
There are some differences with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure vs. the original attraction in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. The queue is quite different and you don’t have a “Ratatouille” themed restaurant at the end of the ride (Bistrot Chez Rémy). Instead, Epcot offers a new concept outside of the attraction – La Crêperie de Paris.
We have been posting articles and videos about the Epcot attraction and rest of the new France expansion (opening officially October 1st). I experienced it all during a media event last week and look forward to our Passholder preview on the 15th! We last rode Ratatouille: The Adventure at Disneyland Paris in June and it is fun to see the similarities and differences.
