Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

A Look at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris, Opening at Epcot on October 1st, 2021

Hi everyone!

I attended a Epcot media preview yesterday for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris, which officially open with the new France expansion on October 1st, 2021 as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”. Here is a look from yesterday!

I wrote an article in July about the Paris inspiration for this Ratatouille entrance.

The credential date was written in French, which was a nice touch. The Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ear headband we were given has been a hot seller at the France pavilion over the past few months.

Remy and Emile were greeting everyone. I hope we will see them here more often!

Here is our video:

The characters have appeared at Walt Disney World before, especially in 2019 when they met guests at the Magic Kingdom once per week for much of the year.

We’ve seen Remy and Emile more often at Disneyland Paris.

It was nice to have a photo with them yesterday!

There is a great selection of unique merchandise for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. A handful of items have already been for sale, most has not.

Here is my video interview about the merchandise!

There are several interactive items but also a lot of practical ones, including a cutting board, a wine stopper and other kitchenware.

I rode Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure 7 or 8 times. I enjoy it at Disneyland Paris and it was a treat to ride with no wait at the preview. The attraction will have a virtual queue when it opens October 1st. This is a fun family ride.

The floor is lined with cheese next to the ride vehicles.

Here is a look at the ride (video provided by Disney). We will have more of our own videos coming out in the next couple of days and I will embed them in the article this weekend.

The fountain is similar to Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris but is larger.

The decorations on the fountain are like at Disneyland Paris, including Remy holding champagne bottles.

Remy is also at the top of the fountain, and can be seen in front of the marquee sign for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure here.

The locations shown here aren’t real, one is a facade store called La Cave D’Ego.

Anton Ego is shown on the door.

I would love to see “Chateau Ego” wine really exist!

La Crêperie de Paris is opening with the expansion. Eric and Jérôme Bocuse have been busy with this new addition to the France pavilion! At Disneyland Paris, Bistrot Chez Rémy is a restaurant attached to the attraction. Here, we have an authentic creperie with recipes inspired by the Brittany area of France.

Here is a look inside the restaurant.

We were invited to try a savory galette and a sweet crepe. I ordered the Ratatouille Galette. This was delicious! We also were brought a French hard cider, which went well with the crepe.

I ordered the Gourmande Crepe, with house-made hazelnut spread.

Even the restroom signs are themed.

This isn’t an exhaustive look at my day yesterday, we will be posting more in the upcoming days.  It was great getting to spend some time in the expansion and we look forward to our Annual Passholder preview in a couple of weeks!
