Epcot World Showcase Gift Shopping with a $25 Gift Card – 11 Countries, 6 Gifts
Hi everyone!
We head to Epcot’s World Showcase in our article today, with a budget of a $25 gift card. I wanted to purchase some birthday gifts for a family member who always finds unique gifts on her travels around the country (and world).
I did receive an Annual Passholder 10% discount, and my gift card was purchased itself with a small discount as well. The prices listed below are retail.
World Showcase is my favorite place at Walt Disney World to shop, and to window shop. Sometimes I’ve purchased items first found in World Showcase outside of Walt Disney World for less money, but sometimes the price isn’t much different than what I find elsewhere – if I can find a specific item outside of Epcot at all.
My plan was to pick up 4 or 5 items with the gift card.
We first stopped at Northwest Mercantile at the Canada pavilion.
In the past, we’ve purchased Moose Nuts chocolate nut candy in a tin, and that was something that I would have picked up this time. Unfortunately, it is summer and the chocolate wouldn’t have made it even around World Showcase without melting. Bear Nuts and Beaver Nuts are also available.
Instead, I found this pure maple leaf syrup lollipop for just $2.95.
In France, we stopped first for the Vanilla Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich, and then I purchased a Tournee’ du Chat Noir soap for $4.95. This is one of the least expensive prices for soap in World Showcase, and my favorite design.
At The Christmas Corner in Germany, we bought Christmas incense cones for $3.50. The holidays are getting closer!
We left Epcot for a few hours, heading back in the evening. At Norway, we bought the “It’s a Troll World” magnet for $4.95.
In the Mexico pavilion, we purchased another item that is from Disney – a coaster themed to Mexico, with Pluto holding a bone.
It was getting late and I still had money on the gift card for one more item under $5.00. Many stores were already closed (it was an Extra Magic Hours evening), so I chose Walker’s Original Toffee from the United Kingdom pavilion.
While Walker’s is a good addition to the gift box, these Panda Peppermints from China were almost added instead.
We still had less than $1.00 on the gift card, and I’ll be sending out this box of gifts come Monday. I always enjoy the shops in World Showcase, and the merchandise changes all the time. It was nice to be able to purchase 6 items for less than $25 with my 10% Annual Pass discount. Not all stores take the discount, but most do – everything I purchased qualified.
I highly recommend spending an afternoon perusing World Showcase stores – a lot of unique merchandise can be found there!
