Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Construction Update from June 8th, 2021
Hi everyone!
I stopped by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort after the Magic Kingdom yesterday and have some photos to share of the construction. The resort is scheduled to reopen at the end of next month with a new front entrance and some other changes, including the Moana themed standard rooms.
The monorail station is quite a bit different than even my update last week.
The large piece being staged in the parking lot is still being worked on.
Here is a look up where the monorail station will be. It has been closed since last fall.
Workers were also on the roof of the walkway from the Great Ceremonial House to the monorail station.
Here are more photos.
Walls were up in the back of the resort and not just near Pineapple Lanai this week.
This area was blocked off.
My next update is probably a couple of weeks away. It was nice to stop by and take a look at what is going on yesterday.
