Avengers Campus Cast Costumes Revealed; Land Opens June 4th, 2021 at Disney California Adventure

Avengers Campus opens at Disney California Adventure park on June 4th, 2021 and Cast Members shared a look at their costumes! From the Disney Parks Blog, “Our Cast Members play a unique part in the guest experience,” said Joe Kucharski, senior costume designer. “These costumes are designed to help them embody their role in this epic story.”

Cast Members in Avengers Campus are known as Campus Representatives, and the costumes they wear are inspired by “each individual address within the campus”. Disney says the looks are created to be cool and comfortable but also part of the immersive storytelling of the new land.

Disney says, “Campus Representatives at WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and WEB Suppliers will wear pieces that feature modern, techy emblems and materials made of lightweight, breathable fabrics with stretch for movement and flexibility.”

At Pym Test Kitchen featuring IMPOSSIBLE, they have costume pieces including a Pym pocket protector, lab coat, hat and tie. The costumes feature a large “Pym Particle” on the hat and much smaller pattern on the tie.

“The campus uniform includes cargo bottoms, a training shirt and a tactical-inspired vest that are comfortable, lightweight and breathable, so cast can be ready to take on any mission that comes their way.”

Disney says of the Ancient Sanctum costumes that unique pieces are layered to cast a dramatic silhouette with rich textures, with sewing techniques inspired by the Mystic Arts.

There are two food carts in Avengers Campus, and Campus Representatives will wear colorful aprons themed to each. The Shawarma Palace cart is inspired by classic New York City food carts. The other is inspired by Guardians on the Galaxy—Mission: BREAKOUT!, called Terran Treats.

It is hard to believe Avengers Campus opens in less than a month! Disneyland and Disney California Adventure opened on April 30th and we are just around the corner from this new land.
