Yak and Yeti Opening Day

I've been taking photos of the Yak and Yeti construction for a couple of months now (on request), and it finally opened today!

FYI – The Disney Dining Experience card was NOT being accepted today.  It may or may not in the future, but there were a number of unhappy people.  Please keep this in mind, and be kind to your server. 🙂   They don't make the rules!

The photos aren't as good as my  MK ice castle  photos from yesterday, but I also didn't have my tripod. 🙂  (nor did I want to use a flash).   If you want to see some of these photos larger, I have a thread on Micechat !

There was a line, but the restaurant hadn't yet opened.  So it wasn't too long once they started to get in (we did wait maybe 15 minutes).    While we were waiting, I walked around and took photos. 

 

The counter service menu, which seems very slight to me.  I'd love to see more items!  Also, all counter service seating is outside.  So if it rains, there really isn't anyplace to go but table service right now.
