TRON Lightcycle Run Canopy Support Removal – Photos from April 4th, 2021 at Magic Kingdom
Hi everyone!
I wanted to share some photos of the TRON Lightcycle Run canopy from yesterday at the Magic Kingdom – the supports are being removed. I took photos in Storybook Circus, from the Swiss Family Treehouse and from outside the park. Work is also going on with the Walt Disney World Railroad in Storybook Circus though it wasn’t so easy to see the tracks at that time. Here are photos from yesterday!
There wasn’t any actual work going on with it being Easter Sunday.
Nearby, it is really nice to see the work for the Walt Disney World Railroad. I miss this and the People Mover.
Railroad ties were bundled.
Looking back toward the Storybook Circus Railroad Station.
Work can be seen through the fence.
And from the Swiss Family Treehouse, here is a look at the TRON canopy.
Here is the skyline of Cinderella Castle, TRON and Space Mountain.
From the walkway back to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, I took a few photos.
There has been no date announced for the opening of TRON Lightcycle Run at the Magic Kingdom. The attraction was originally to be open for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. Being that the celebration runs 18 months after kicking off October 1st, it could certainly open within that timeframe. We will update you as we find out about that and the Walt Disney World Railroad.
