New Trader Sam’s Shirt Available at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

A new Trader Sam’s shirt is now for sale in BouTiki at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. I noticed it this morning when we peeked in the shop before it opened (hoping the chip & dip set would be there). We also noticed the Maui lamp was in stock – which we did buy. The shirt is made of polyester so Jeff didn’t buy it, but it is really stylish.

Here is a look at the print of the shirt, which says Trader Sam’s and also features a variety of familiar icons including an octopus and Hippopotomai Tai.

The shirt is $74.99.

I noticed while looking in that the Maui lamp was in stock. This is the lamp you can find in the DVC studio rooms right now. It isn’t inexpensive – $299 (plus any discounts, like Annual Passholder). We have been looking for one since October and purchased it.

If you plan to buy the lamp and find it, the box is huge! So much bigger than the lamp itself.

I hope we will see Trader Sam’s open when the resort officially does (currently scheduled for late July). I miss stopping by, especially the Tiki Terrace for a Spikey Pineapple. But for now, you can find Trader Sam’s merchandise in BouTiki at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The items can sell out but often also return.
