Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

Cinderella Castle Update from March 25th, 2021 as More 50th Decor is Added

Hi everyone!

I went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday morning and took some photos of Cinderella Castle as it undergoes its transformation for the 50th anniversary. “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” kicks off on October 1st, 2021 and the turrets have a beautiful royal blue color as more adornments are being added around the castle.

Here is our video.

This was about 8:15 a.m. yesterday – the sky looked really nice with the colors (and Walt and Mickey surrounded by yellow blooms).

The castle stage is still being worked on.

I walked up toward Cinderella Castle from the left side and you can see a couple of the decor pieces that have been added.

Here is a closer look at one of the swags.

There are blues and golds alternating with the more purple-ish EARidescent pieces.

The moat is still drained on this side.

Here are more photos from this side before heading over to the other.

I walked toward the back of Cinderella Castle.

The Magic Kingdom had been open for about an hour at this point, it was nice to be still able to get photos like this without too many guests.

I took this photo while sitting on the other side.

Looking toward Sir Mickey’s.

A 50 decoration is at the end here.

And here are a couple of photos in Fantasyland.

We plan to visit the Magic Kingdom on Sunday or Monday and will have much more from the park next week!
