Rivers of America Refilled at Magic Kingdom & A Look at the Liberty Belle on January 28th, 2021

Hi everyone!

The Rivers of America were refilled this week and we also noticed the Liberty Belle while walking to the Magic Kingdom yesterday from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. In the area where the Electrical Water Pageant is stored, the Liberty Belle and some Tom Sawyer Island rafts were in view.

Here is a look at the Liberty Belle and rafts before heading to the Magic Kingdom and Liberty Square. This is from the new walkway that links Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to the Magic Kingdom.

Refurbishment on the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island began on October 5th, 2020.

There was no water here on our last visit so it was nice to see it ready for the Liberty Belle.

The Haunted Mansion is in view.

I took photos of Harper’s Mill as it was refurbished.

There is no sign yet on it, but it otherwise looks finished.

While taking photos, I noticed Wendell and Shaker in their socially distanced meet.

I was not close to them but Wendell saw me and waved.

And Shaker also was waving to everyone.

I look forward to riding the Liberty Belle again as well as the PeopleMover in Tomorrowland soon.
