Deluxe Studio Tour at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

We have a Deluxe Studio tour at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. We were invited yesterday to tour the newest Disney Vacation Club addition at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, including a variety of rooms.

Here is our Deluxe Studio video, followed by photos.

We toured Deluxe Studio 8223.

Disney says that these are “earth-themed rooms” that offer an outdoor patio and kitchenette with a dishwasher. The Deluxe Studio sleeps up to 4 adults.

The Deluxe Studio features 1 queen bed and 1 queen-size pull-down (Murphy) bed behind the couch.

There is lovely artwork throughout the Island Tower, but my favorite piece is on the headboard of the pull-down here.

We pulled the bed down.

Te Fiti is sleeping in the artwork. And there are other Moana characters here as well.

We were able to see the artwork in a frame later, and all of the artwork will be for sale. Heihei is on the left corner below, and Tamatoa below right. Moana sails her canoe on the right, and Pua is in the clouds above.

Maui is on the edge of Te Fiti.

The room also includes seating on the right hand side, as well as drawers.

A large television is above the drawers.

There are hidden Mickeys in the seating.

A hidden Mickey can be seen here.

There is a nook for placing items.

The safe is in the closet.

There are ample cupboards here. We were moving through the rooms pretty quickly and I didn’t open them, but I expect there to be glasses and plates. There is a small microwave, a coffee maker, Joffrey’s coffees, a sink and towels.

A small refrigerator is under the coffee maker.

What I really like is that there is a dishwasher.

It is a smaller dishwasher, perfect for a studio.

This particular Deluxe Studio has views that include Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Jeff shows the view from the balcony in our video.

The full bathroom includes a door for the toilet and a walk-in shower.

Another of my favorite aspects of the hotel is the textured showers with the look of rockwork.

There is no artwork above or next to the toilet (which there is in other rooms).

The mirror design above the sink is fun.

The Deluxe Studio is just one of many room types at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, which range from Duo Studios to 2-Bedroom Penthouse Villas at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

What do you think of the Deluxe Studio?
