Photos, Video: Moana Splash Pad at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
Hi everyone!
A Moana splash pad will be one of the highlights for young guests at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. We were invited by Disney to tour the new Disney Vacation Club tower and have photos and video of the splash pad to share.
Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in Walt Disney World and opens December 17th.
First, here is our video that also includes the Cove Pool, followed by the Moana’s Voyage splash pad photos.
The Moana’s Voyage splash pad is the most Moana-themed element of Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalow. There are subtle nods to Moana in some of the resort artwork, but the tower isn’t themed to the films.
The sign for Moana’s Voyage offers some rules, including the capacity of 60 guests.
Moana is sailing her iconic outrigger canoe and wears her outfit from the first Moana movie.
Here is a closer look. Her hair is blown back by the wind.
Water jets allow kids to cool off, and there is even a hidden Mickey!
Here is the Mickey I found, I didn’t see any others.
There are also starfish and sea creatures as part of the ground art.
Here is a look from the back, with a turtle in the art.
And some of the tower can be seen in the background.
There is a separate gate here for the Moana splash pad, walking in from the Cove Pool. We will post an article of the pool itself this week.
What do you think of the Moana’s Voyage splash pad at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows?
