‘The Little Mermaid’ 35th Anniversary Collection Releasing October 28th at the Disney Store

The Little Mermaid 35th Anniversary Collection is scheduled to arrive October 28th to the Disney Store! The photo from the Disney Store site shows a Loungefly mini backpack featuring Ursula flanked by Flotsam and Jetsam. She appears to be looking at her crystal ball (a pouch with zipper), where Ariel is seen holding Flounder.

The classic animated film The Little Mermaid released into theaters on November 15th, 1989. It is hard to believe it’s been 35 years next month! The Little Mermaid sparked what is known as the Disney Renaissance – a fantastic decade or so of animated films that included Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and Aladdin.
