Universal Orlando Resort Announces Hurricane Milton Closures and Operational Changes

Universal Orlando Resort announced Hurricane Milton closures for October 9th and 10th, 2024.

Due to Hurricane Milton, Universal Orlando Resort is making the following operational changes for Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.
•On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk will be open until 2 p.m. and will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 10.
•Universal Volcano Bay will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.•Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida is canceled for Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.•Our hotels remain operational as they focus on taking care of our guests.
We anticipate a full reopening of our destination, including Halloween Horror Nights, on Friday, Oct. 11 at our normal operating hours pending the outcome of storm impacts.
If you have a Halloween Horror Nights dated ticked and/or Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass for Wednesday, Oct. 9 or Thursday, Oct. 10, they will be automatically honored for a single night use on any one of the remaining nights of the event.
For our Premier Passholders, if you haven’t already used your one (1) free night benefit to experience Halloween Horror Nights, you may select a different eligible night. Please click here for list of available nights.
