Tropical Americas Signage and Artwork Arrive to Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Hi everyone!

Tropical Americas signage and concept recently arrived to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, including a logo for the upcoming land that will be taking the place of DinoLand U.S.A. The land – known as Pueblo Esperanza – will include an Encanto ride-through attraction as well as an Indiana Jones ride.

Here are photos from yesterday.

Concept art featuring the land is on the construction walls.  To the top right is the Indiana Jones attraction, to the left is the Encanto Casita, and at the bottom there is the carousel that will feature beautiful wood carved animals characters from Disney and Pixar stories.

The Tropical Americas sign features the logo.

Butterflies are a theme of Encanto, and can be seen along the construction walls.

This sign with a Casita says, ‘It’s even bigger on the inside’ from Encanto, which may have been a reference in the film to Doctor Who.

The signs have the look of tile bordering them.

‘Snakes, why’d it have to be snakes’ is from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indiana Jones’ hat is also above the wording, and a snake on the bottom.

“Don’t eat those!” is the line from Antonio to his jaguar named Parce. The jaguar and a rat are on the sign.

‘Of course they can come’ is said from Antonio to toucan Pico in the film.

There is also signage pointing the way to areas of DinoLand that are still open, as well as to Asia.

DinoLand U.S.A. still has characters, the Dinosaur ride, Restaurantasaurus and The Boneyard.

Are you looking forward to Tropical Americas? The area is scheduled to open in 2027!
