Stormalong Bay and Disney’s Yacht Club Refurbishment Update from March 23, 2025 (30+ Photos)
Hi everyone!
Here are my latest Stormalong Bay refurbishment photos as the work continues at the 3-acre pool complex at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Stormalong Bay has been closed since early January and the Walt Disney World website still says the closure will extend into June 2025. The Shipwreck Pool, the water slide and Hurricane Hanna’s are all closed.
I was there yesterday (on a Sunday), so there was no work going on at this time. Our last update was in early March.
Here are my 30+ photos of Stormalong Bay (and other nearby refurbishment on Disney’s Yacht Club Resort) from yesterday!
This was the view while on the walkway from EPCOT to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
Behind me, here is a look at the Shipwreck slide. There are shrubs along the walkway.
Sand bags were on the beach, as well as some within the pool area.
There is scaffolding up against the Yacht Club, I am not sure what they are doing exactly here.
There is an area with more scaffolding on the ground.
A “Please Pardon Our Appearance” sign is here.
There is glaze over the windows in the hallway from Disney’s Yacht Club Resort toward Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
The door in front of Yachtsman Steakhouse is open.
Once outside, there is another sign and the walkway is blocked.
Scaffolding can be seen here as well.
And here are more views of Stormalong Bay! The pavement was ripped up and a lot of work is happening here. There hasn’t been any water for the past month or so either.
Here is a look toward the windmill.
Sandbags are in the background.
Stormalong Bay features a sand-bottomed pool (that currently is without sand).
Here are more photos from my visit yesterday.
While Stormalong Bay is closed to guests, there are still pools available – the Tidal, Admiral and Dunes Cove leisure pools. That said, they aren’t going to be nearly what Stormalong Bay is.
Will you be visiting Disney’s Yacht Club or Beach Club Resort during your visit in the coming months?
