Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival Returns to Raglan Road Irish Pub at Disney Springs (Photos)
Hi everyone!
Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day 2025 with the annual Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival from March 14th-17th. There is plenty of fun to be had, from Irish bands to the Raglan Road Irish Dancers, Celtic Face Painters and more.
In addition, the Paddy’s Bar addition officially opened yesterday with a ribbon cutting. We were invited for that and to try some of the Rollicking Raglan Brunch food. Here is our experience from yesterday!
Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant is a favorite of many guests and the perfect place to spend St. Patrick’s Day weekend. I’ve been visiting since it opened nearly 20 years ago. The restaurant was built in Ireland, disassembled and then rebuilt here. It is a very authentic experience.
Signage is in place for The Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival.
Paddy’s Bar is the newest update to Raglan Road, with a beautiful sign topping it.
A ribbon was draped across the bar when we arrived. We were given a drink called The Emerald Goddess to celebrate with. The drink features H’appeny Irish gin, fresh lemon, pineapple juice, and apple sour topped with champagne.
Paddy’s Bar is fully stocked, with a variety of beer taps and a limited amount of seating.
Raglan Road owner and co-founder John Cooke did the honors of cutting the ribbon.
There are beautiful accents. Cooke mentioned the designers back in Ireland and the tradespeople in Yorkeshire, England who made the “wonderful tiles”, crafted in the same way that they were made 200 years ago.
We went into the restaurant for some food and entertainment.
Raglan Road hosted us for a taste of some wonderful brunch offerings. The popular Rollicking Raglan Brunch is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. I always recommend reservations for Raglan Road.
We tried a shared sampler platter that featured:
Pull the Boxty – an Irish style crispy boxty potato cake, pulled ham hock, and caramelized red onions with a Dubliner cheese sauce. The potato was delicious!
When Ireland Dates America – This is new on the menu! Bacon & cabbage mac ‘n’ cheese bites, maple glazed Bakers bacon, carrot & cabbage slaw and pickled red cabbage puree complete the starter. Jeff noted the maple glaze in particular as being memorable and tasty.
An Irish Egg – Another winner at the table. Raglan Road has a terrific lineup of starters, with my personal favorite being Bang Bang’s Chicken.
My entree was Chicken Salad in the Garden. This dish was above my expectations, with a grilled Bell and Evans chicken breast that features mixed greens, shaved sprouts, confit cherry tomatoes, grilled broccolini, toasted pumpkin seeds, grilled corn and green goddess dressing. It wasn’t the chicken that made the dish (the chicken was good but nothing special in itself), it was a combination of the items in the rest of the salad that elevated this dish.
Jeff ordered the Full Irish. I tried some of the mushrooms, and they were so tasty! Jeff enjoyed the whole dish, especially the sausage and ham.
A trip to Raglan Road always means a Guinness for Jeff.
I ordered a Bailey’s Shake, which I was told will be green all weekend. It is an ice cream shake with Bailey’s, coffee liqueur and chocolate. This is on the menu all the time without the green color.
There is even more entertainment than usual all weekend long! On Friday, Saturday and Sunday (March 15, 16 and 17), there will be entertainment from morning through midnight (9a on Saturday/Sunday and 10a Monday).
CLADA performed for us. They are a pretty new traditional Irish folk band – and really fantastic. They are just one of many bands on tap this weekend.
For dessert, we had the famous Ger’s Bread & Butter Pudding (which has been my favorite dessert here since Raglan Road opened), French toast style with vanilla mascarpone, mixed berries, and maple glazed bacon.
There is also great Irish merchandise for sale.
This cute photo op with 3 lambs changes during the year. Right now it is St. Patrick’s Day themed.
Thank you to Raglan Road Irish Pub for having us out! I have always enjoyed the food and drinks here, as well as the fantastic entertainment that has been present since opening year – 2005.
I highly recommend reservations if you plan to visit. Raglan Road is a large restaurant, but it does fill up at peak times of day.
