Cinderella 75th Anniversary Dessert Arrives to Auberge de Cendrillon at Disneyland Paris

Hi everyone!

A Cinderella 75th Anniversary dessert has been introduced at Auberge de Cendrillon in Disneyland Paris. The restaurant is a popular one as it features character dining with Disney princesses. There is no mention on how long the dessert will be available, but the film was released in America on February 15th, 1950 (75 years ago from the time of this writing).

The dessert was created by the Disneyland Paris pastry chefs and consists of a vanilla mousse, almond-coco cookie, raspberry and a ruby chocolate shell. The photo from Disneyland Paris shows the dessert, which looks like a pillow with a white chocolate slipper. An additional piece commemorates the anniversary.

At Disneyland Paris, enjoying lunch or a “Royal breakfast” at Auberge de Cendrillon is always an unforgettable experience. Pampered by the most attentive table service, visitors can enjoy delicious dishes in a fairy-tale atmosphere, in the company of Disney Princesses. For this anniversary, a new dessert was in fact prepared by the Disneyland Paris pastry chefs: a vanilla mousse, almond-coco cookie, raspberry insert with a ruby chocolate shell

Tribute was also natural in Disneyland® Paris, in the homeland of Charles Perrault. The universe of Cinderella holds a good place at Fantasyland®, in the L’Auberge de Cendrillon, one of the most charming restaurants of Disneyland Park.

The building is clearly marked by the Renaissance architecture of Val de Loire, which had already inspired artistic directors Mary Blair and John Hench to create the Tremaine mansion in the animation film: it essentially features a main tower in which Cinderella’s room is found. Inside, the wooden beams of the ceiling, the stone archways, multi-faceted mirrors and pastel shades share a romantic and elegant aesthetic with the building’s exterior, while the tapestries, the capitals atop the columns and the frescos are adorned with scenes from the 1950 classic. The famous Cinderella’s carriage in the courtyard and the fountain at the entrance, with its graceful bronze statue, contribute to completing the charm.
