Chalk Art at EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2025 Now Almost All Disney Inspired (Photos)

Hi everyone!

Chalk art at EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2025 is now almost all Disney inspired for the first time ever. Since the festival debuted in 2017, the Disney themed chalk art was created by Leigh (and in 3D by Nate Baranowski – see the end of the article). Now, almost all of the chalk artists are creating Disney themes. And even when the design isn’t all Disney, it has a touch of IP in the art.

Yesterday, art on the sidewalk included pieces I’ve shown already like Moana and Mickey, but also Orange Bird, Inside Out 2 characters, EPCOT scenes and more. The Hulk art by Nate Baranowski is amazing. I feature that art later in this article, but also will have a separate post with more photos.

A few photos in this article are from Thursday before EPCOT International Festival of the Arts officially began, like this one (it was a lot less busy that day!)

Guests lined up yesterday to see the chalk art. On Thursday, we saw four colorful pieces of artwork as the artists began early (to have designs ready for guests to view on Friday). Yesterday, many more were created!

Figment paints a sun on an easel.

The shadow underneath gives a lovely 3D effect.

RHawk created this EPCOT design, with Spaceship Earth and the former majestic fountain (which was lovely and I miss it).

Daisy Duck is a ballerina in this piece.

A monorail passes by in this artwork that is also by RHawk. This art is inspired by the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, with a flower quilt. You can even see the monorail beam reflected.

This artist was creating Mona Lisa inspired artwork yesterday morning, but with a twist.

The finished piece features Mona Lisa with Mickey Mouse ears. In all past years, the pieces would have been inspired by the originals without a Disney addition.

Before moving on, here are the first four chalk art creations we saw (on Thursday). Mickey is first.

Moana wears her Moana 2 outfit. Leigh created both of these pieces. You can find her on Instagram.

Ant-Man was chalked by Marisa Alvarado, who will be at EPCOT on 6 dates.

The Girl with a Pearl Earring has a hidden Mickey for her earrings.

Orange Bird was also being created yesterday afternoon.

Orange Bird was about half finished when I was there.

In the morning, Leigh and another artist had begun this Inside Out 2 art that features the cast of the film.

When I returned in the afternoon, five of the characters had been mostly filled in – Joy, Fear, Anger, Sadness and Envy.

Due to the nature of chalk art, I won’t see this finished in person as Sunday is supposed to be a very rainy day. On Monday, we’ll probably see a whole new slate of art beginning.

Chalk sits beside the artwork.

Artist Nate Baranowski has been creating amazing 3D chalk art during EPCOT International Festival of the Arts since 2017.

He was putting finishing touches on Hulk. Instructions for guests on how to “be in” the photo are on the ground.

He stepped away from the art, which was nearly complete.

I turned the photo upside down. His work is just so…incredible.

Here is one last look at Baranowski working on Hulk in the afternoon.

By the time we return to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts on Monday, we hope to see some new art starting to take shape. The chalk art is one of my favorite aspects of the festival as it is always changing.

Which is your favorite chalk art at EPCOT International Festival of the Arts?
