Scat Cat Lounge on Disney Treasure Tour (40 Photos)

Hi everyone!

Scat Cat Lounge on the Disney Treasure was one of my favorite spaces to visit during our 3-night media cruise. The lounge is themed to “The Aristocats” with Middle Eastern decor that compliments the Grand Hall, which it is connected to.

We have photos to share of this purr-fect addition to the Disney Treasure.

We recommend our travel partner Mouse Fan Travel for booking your Disney Cruise vacation.

Most of the photos are mine, but a few are provided by Disney. We didn’t have access to the lounge during most of the daytime hours as there were open houses each day (we attended one).

This Scat Cat Lounge poster is very close to the lounge itself. We were told that the Art of Disney on Demand system would feature all the artwork on the ship to purchase.

Disney says of this poster, “Each cat depicted in the artwork will be drawn in the image of a beloved pet belonging to someone from the project team that helped design and build Scat Cat Lounge”.

Upon arriving at the Scat Cat Lounge, there is a theme of music and piano keys.

Small cat paw prints are among the “Groovy” details here.

The door handles are trumpet shaped.

To the sides, ‘a parade of silhouetted cats’ – and it looks like Roquefort the mouse as well – greet guests as they enter.

The Scat Cat Lounge menu features paw prints.

The menu includes specialty items, as well as Champagne, sparkling wines, reds and white wines.

This photo from Disney shows how the lounge looks empty.

While we were there for our open house, a piano player tickled the ivories.

Behind the piano, it says “Everybody wants to be a cat”.

I took this photo when I stopped for a drink on the last evening. The neon lights dance off the piano. Light fixtures inspired by Morocco are above.

There are also paw prints on the piano.

Here is another photo from Disney, which says that the carpet is “inspired by the ornate French style rugs scattered throughout Madame Adelaide Bonfamille’s swanky Parisian home”.

There is artwork featuring familiar cats (and a mouse) on the walls. They are subtly added, it would be easy to not notice them.

Hit Cat plays his guitar.

Thomas O’Malley rises over the greenery.

Duchess is here as well.

Berlioz, Toulouse and Marie are in the art.

Marie was hard to get (the lighting was difficult during the time we were there).

There are “hidden Roqueforts” as well!

Guests can sit at the bar, and there is also a walk-up bar on the opposite side (which is in the Grand Hall).

We were told by Katrina Alvarez from WDI that these pieces are artwork from the Animation Research Library (not the originals), from the visual development of the film.

Guests can purchase a drink with paw prints. They were still perfecting this when we were there.

There are several drinks on a Jams menu.

Pairings can also be had, including with Dom Perignon and Veuve Clicquot.

The Cat’s Meow is a drink with embossed cat glass for $130.00.

Here is a look at two embossed glasses.

The sparkling menu is mostly made up of Champagne. I ordered a Pommery Rosé during my time in the Scat Cat Lounge.

Here is the outside bar.

There is a trumpet as a handle. One of two beers on tap is Feline Beat Brew.

I look forward to eventually sailing on the Disney Treasure again to enjoy this space – as well as the Disney Tale of Moana show and The Haunted Mansion Parlor. We did book a placeholder while we were onboard and plan to sail as soon as later this year.

Disney invited us for the media sailing, all views are ours.
