Haunted Mansion Parlor to Have a Time Limit on the Disney Treasure

Hi everyone!

The Haunted Mansion Parlor will have a time limit on the Disney Treasure. We were on the media cruise and on the final evening, a sign was posted.

The sign says, “Attention, Mortals! The Ghost Captain requests all seatings are limited to a maximum of 45 minutes”. That is the same as the Hyperspace Lounge on the Disney Wish. That said, it should depend on how busy the bar is.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor was probably the highlight for us on the Disney Treasure. We didn’t experience everything on the ship as it was only 3 days and much of our time was spent on touring locations on the ship. But during our evening free time, the Haunted Mansion Parlor was where we chose to spend much of it.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor time limit sign features the classic bat stanchion from the Disney parks attraction.

The sign leading into the Haunted Mansion Parlor is based on Rolly Crump’s aquarium with ghost fish that would have been part of the Museum of the Weird –  a concept for the original Haunted Mansion years ago.

The aquarium with ghost fish is in the center of the bar. We will be posting a much longer article with an interview in the coming few days.

There is so much to look at around the Haunted Mansion Parlor. This is like an extension of the Disney parks attraction, and you’ll see something new each time you visit. Here, Madame Leota floats in a mirror behind the bar. At the same time, much more is happening all over the room.

The Disney Treasure officially sets sail on December 21st!

Jeff and I enjoyed our time so much on the cruise, that we are looking at a date to return in 2025. The Haunted Mansion Parlor is just one of several draws for us, but we want to be able to really explore and enjoy the ship over 7 days.
