Disneyland Resort Announces New Offerings for the 2024 Holiday Season

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will return on November 15th, 2024 – and with it, several new offerings! That includes “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” outside the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park and “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure.

There will also be a new meet and greet with Santa and select Disney characters at “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!” at the Fantasyland Theatre.

Mirabel's Gifts of the Season at Disneyland Resort
In a new street performance for the 2024 Disney Festival of Holidays, Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” and her friends bring everyone together during their very own Fiesta de Navidad celebration. Holidays at the Disneyland Resort returns from Nov. 15, 2024, through Jan. 6, 2025, featuring a wide variety of festive, family-friendly entertainment such as character sightings, nighttime spectaculars and live bands. Today, Disneyland Resort released a guide to the merry, must-see entertainment across the resort – including multiple new offerings debuting this year. 

Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park introduces new entertainment for guests of all ages: 

  • “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” brings guests together to sing along to the beloved songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” in a heartfelt musical presentation. 
  • “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” features heartfelt stories, timeless songs and an appearance by Miguel from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco.” 
  • An expanded rotation of live entertainment brings a variety of high-energy seasonal fun each day with an extensive range of genres, including mariachi, jazz, klezmer, Latin pop, fusion, reggae, polka and more. 
New for 2024, Santa Claus and select Disney characters will make appearances and pose for holiday photos at “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!” at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif. New this year at Disneyland Park, guests will be able to meet Santa Claus and select Disney characters at “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!” at the Fantasyland Theatre. 

Additional entertainment highlights for the holiday season include:   

  • “World of Color – Season of Light” at Disney California Adventure Park  
  • “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” at Disneyland Park 
  • Live music and nightly “snowfall” at Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn 
  • Holiday caroling on select days at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort
