Hungry Bear Restaurant at Disneyland to Receive Country Bear Jamboree Theme, New Barbecue Menu

Hi everyone!

The Disneyland Resort announced today that Hungry Bear Restaurant will become Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree in Critter Country.  This news was posted from @DisneyEats on Instagram and comes on the heels of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree opening this week at Walt Disney World. There is even a fun nod to Hungry Bear Restaurant in the lobby of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, which I have a photo of later in the article.

Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree will not be a character dining location. More details about the full menu, the concept and reopening date will be announced at a later time.

Disney says about the restaurant, The Country Bears are taking over Hungry Bear Restaurant at @disneyland with a new name: Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree! 🐻🍽️ Get ready to sample regional barbecue dishes the Country Bears discovered while on tour, all while foot-stompin’ and finger-snappin’ to the Country Bears greatest hits! More details about this transformation — including an opening date — coming soon.

Here is a photo from the Country Bear Musical Jamboree lobby at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. One of the items in the display case is a Hungry Bear Restaurant napkin where the Country Bears developed their songs for the show. The soundtrack is available for purchase online.
