Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction Update from May 22nd, 2024 at the Magic Kingdom

Hi everyone!

We have photos and video of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure construction from yesterday (May 22nd). Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opens on June 28th, 2024 at the Magic Kingdom. We are looking forward to previewing it early next month and sharing it with you!

First, here is our video from yesterday.

Patriotic bunting is now up at the Magic Kingdom.

We rode the Walt Disney World Railroad around to Frontierland.

There are a few new signs since our last update, as final touches are being added around the queue.

The sign lets guests know that there is a fifty-foot plunge ahead.  “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a turbulent flume adventure with high speeds, heights, and sudden drops and stops!”.

The queue looks almost ready for guests.

Workers were in the queue.

These signs are new since our last visit, pointing the way to the break room and farmers market.

We couldn’t see the children’s garden as easily this time.

New posters were added since our last visit.

Celebrate Mardi Gras Season, everybody’s welcome!

There were workers at the digital entrance signs.

They did leave, so we have a better look at the signs.

Lari the armadillo was added to the mailbox.

We have yet to see ride testing when at the Magic Kingdom.

There was plenty of water in the trough.

The sign here was never changed to add the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening date (it still says opening summer).

We first noticed this banner during our last visit.

This is the first time we could see through this area (there have always been a lot of boats). Lari the armadillo is visible.

We are just over a month until the official opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!

We also passed by Liver Lips (new name Romeo) was walking around Frontierland.

Bunting is also on Town Square buildings.

With Orlando temperatures already soaring toward 100 degrees, it will be so nice to have Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to cool off in! Plus, I am just looking forward to seeing the attraction and all the new audio-animatronics.
