Disney Village LEGO Store at Disneyland Paris to Receive Refurbishment by End of 2024
Hi everyone!
Disneyland Paris has announced that the LEGO Store in Disney Village will be “new and improved” with a major refurbishment that is expected to happen by the end of the 2024. The newly refurbished LEGO store will feature “exciting photo opportunities, awe-inspiring big builds and interactive play stations alongside the widest range of LEGO sets only available in the LEGO Store.”
This is part of the ongoing transformation of Disney Village that is taking place over the next couple of years (the first major step was the opening of the amazing Brasserie Rosalie).
The Disney Village LEGO Store concept art features a Disney backdrop with a photo opportunity featuring LEGO characters Pluto, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Buzz Lightyear on the Pixar ball and Woody. As always with concept art, it says this is an artist concept only. On the backdrop it also features Elsa and Olaf, Peter Pan and Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Guests will also be able to find all LEGO/Disney favorite items alongside other creative LEGO sets.
Hopefully the backdrop is a good indication of what we’ll see at the Disney Village LEGO Store when it is fully refurbished! And while the LEGO Store refurbishment is scheduled for the end of 2024, that date can change.
When we visited Disneyland Paris in January, there were quite a few construction walls placed for the Disney Village transformation and that has continued. It is exciting to see what is coming to Disneyland Paris, including the transformation of Disney Village. This is an extensive undertaking, including a new McDonald’s that is scheduled for early 2026 (the current McDonald’s is staying open during this time).
We will continue to keep you updated!
