Concept Art Released for Raiponce Tangled Spin, Coming to Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris
Hi everyone!
Raiponce Tangled Spin will be coming to Disney Adventure World (currently Walt Disney Studios Park) at Disneyland Paris as part of the massive transformation of the park. The ride will be along the Adventure Way promenade and is a spinner ride based on the film “Tangled” (in France, the movie was called “Raiponce” and that means Rapunzel as well).
Here is a look at the concept art, which features boats from the “Tangled” lantern scene as the ride vehicles. Above guests, there are lanterns and artwork inspired by the film. I cropped the image for several more images below.
Disney says of Raiponce Tangled Spin, To gain access to the park’s immersive worlds, guests will be able to walk along Adventure Way, a beautiful promenade surrounded by lush landscape and themed gardens – the perfect spot for magical daydreams. As guests wander through this enchanting area, they will discover Raiponce Tangled Spin, an all-new family attraction offering a fun take on a classic ride, inspired by the beloved Disney Animation movie Tangled. It will invite guests to “take a spin” through the iconic floating lanterns scene that has touched the hearts of viewers of all ages.
Here is a closer look at the lanterns in the concept art, along with other elements.
It looks like Rapunzel’s hair is in the artwork here and the sun. Concept art can be a bit different than what the final product is, but it does give an idea of what we’ll see at Disney Adventure World.

Beyond that will be Adventure Bay and World of Frozen.
There are many similar Disney spinner rides with different themes across the various parks, including (but not limited to) Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree at Disney California Adventure as well as Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Are you looking forward to Raiponce Tangled Spin? I can’t wait for this whole area to be open, not in particular just for the ride, but for the promenade and gardens (as well as World of Frozen).
